Description:  Limited to 1,000 participants on Zoom. In this 45 minute presentation, Chris Cameron will help us learn amazing realities and the latest research on bird migration.

• WHAT do we really know?
• WHY do birds migrate?
• WHERE do they go?
• HOW do they manage these incredible flights?

With this information under your belt, he will then focus on the world-wide migrations of peregrine falcons, and wrap up with stories of other migrating raptors. The final 15 minutes are reserved for online Q and A.

Chris Cameron is a naturalist and educator who enjoys helping people discover this amazing world. A student of science with a degree in theology, Chris has been a pastor, a naturalist, and a consultant to the CA Dept. of Ed. Most recently, he was the Executive Director of Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria, CA. As a birder and a falconer, Chris encourages hands-on experiences while integrating a variety of perspectives. He has led thousands of kids on wild adventures and helped hundreds of teachers increase environmental literacy in their students. Chris helps lead the Morro Bay Winter Bird Festival.
