Bird Festival Bazaar

The following businesses and environmental groups are participating in the 2019 Bird Festival Bazaar.  If you are interested in being a vendor on Martin Luther King weekend in 2019, please email Crystal Jack.

Hours - The Bazaar is open to the public (except for the Friday and Saturday evening receptions):

Friday: 12 pm to 4:30 pm,
(reception 5 pm to 6:30 pm is closed to public)

Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm

Sunday: 10 am to 4 pm

Location - Morro Bay Community Center, 1001 Kennedy Ave, Morro Bay

Presentations  - Available to the public:

Saturday 11:00 AM - “Factual nature stories can be fun".  Evelyn Dabritz will talk about her books which are a blend of facts and fantasy that enhance learning for children.

Saturday 2:00 PM - Krisztina Scheeff-15 minutes on the habits of Grebes.  See her great photography of the dances (rushing) of the grebes and talk to her about her photography technique and the grebes’ beautiful dance.

Sunday- 11:00 AM - Cara O’Brien of the Seabird Protection Network, Find out about the seabirds nesting patterns and how you can protect them.

Sunday – 2:00 PM - Meet Erin Linton and hear about her unique teabag painting technique.

PWC’s animal ambassadors will be making appearances at their booth throughout the weekend and times will be posted at the booth.

All presentations are in the Bazaar area.
